MODEL / PARENTAL GUIDANCE

Story Model Management offers experienced, professional and caring advice on the correct procedures for getting into modelling, and we can also advise about the possible dangers.

FIRST - Contact Us directly

If you receive an email that does not come directly from us, delete it. Do not reply, even if it is just to say no If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from the agency and you are suspicious, hang up and call our office number. One of the team will be able to tell you if the call was genuine.

SECOND - Do not pay for any pictures

Do not believe anyone who tells you that you need a professional portfolio to be considered by an agency. Natural shots without make-up are the best guides for us to decide as to your potential.

Professional model agencies have had endless complaints about many so-called model agents or studios. More often than not, there does not appear to be any real modelling work on their website. Story does not charge money up front. If we are interested, we will take a few snaps and decide whether or not the person has potential.

If you would like to apply via our website please remember - we do not need professional shots. Please be sure to include at least one clear headshot, one full-length shot and a shot of you smiling. Minimal make up. Please ensure each image is no larger than 300kb in size.

From these we can make an assessment and contact you for a meeting.

Please remember to have a responsible adult accompany you to the meeting if you are underage.

THIRD - Be vigilant on the internet

Please be aware of people approaching you via social media.

If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be a representative of STORY, do not respond without first verifying his/her identity by promptly contacting us at info@storymodelmanagement.com or call the office. We have one official account: @storymodelmanagement
All STORY employees correspond only via email addresses that end with @storymodelmanagement.com.

No STORY employee will EVER ask you to provide any photo wearing lingerie or nude.

Story requires your consent for a child, under 18, to become a model. We will want you to fully understand and approve his or her terms of engagement. We won’t interrupt a child’s schooling and should a model, still in education, work for us he or she will only work with your consent and in the holidays or at weekends.

If you are ever in doubt, please feel free to call our office.
